Singer Zahara has slammed True Love Magazine for associating her name with drugs on their latest cover

Zahara is being joined by some of the country’s biggest names as they criticise True Love Magazine over their latest cover.

The controversial cover for the publication’s January 2017 issue features Zahara accompanied by the words in the headline: ‘Marriage, Drugs & Selling Records.

\n

The Loliwe hitmaker is livid, and has taken to her official Instagram page to address what she has termed ‘misleading and tasteless’, adding that she will be left with no choice but to pursue legal action if the issue is not recalled.

\n\n

“I honestly hope this is a sick joke”, writes the SAMA award winning selling singer.

\n

“Why associate my name with drugs?”, she continued jotting furiously. Adding that “this is an utterly tasteless and misleading caption!!” (sic)

\n

AKA did not hold back in letting everyone know what he thinks of the magazine

\n

\n\n

Bonang Matheba, who normally keeps mum on these dramas, could not let this one slide.

\n

\n\n

This would not be the first time the magazine comes under fire with the public and celebrities. The magazine was slammed for body shaming Lerato Kganyago as a means to justify why they had decided to airbrush her natural appearance beyond recognition.
