No child should miss school for lack of fees

The government brought Free Primary Education and paid examination fees for all candidates in last year’s KCPE.

But since they started joining Form One on January 9, there have been reports of top performers failing to progress for lack of school fees.

This is an eyesore to the education for all initiative.

No child who scores 300 marks in KCPE should drop out.

What is the efficacy of the county, constituency and ward bursary funds?

There’s a need for a national bursary fund to pay school fees for such pupils.
