Kenya is among countries with lean budgets for marketing tourism yet it is endowed with tremendous potential.

The shoestring budget is to blame for the marginal revenue from the sector.

As we pursue an ambitious target of three million tourists annually, more resources must be channelled into marketing.

The struggling Kenya Tourism Board is below par.

Let the national budget office prioritise tourism promotion.
