It’s been barely a month since the government announced subsidized maize flour but Kenyans are still frustrated over the commodity’s apparent shortage.

In some parts of the country, Kenyans are yet to lay their hands on the Sh90 maize flour. In other parts like Nairobi, supermarkets have limited the number of packets to two per customer.

As a result, a lot of Kenyans have come up with ingenious ways to feed their families while other unscrupulous traders are out to make a profit.

One clever tactic some Kenyans are using to walk away with more than 2 packets from a supermarket is by sending several members of the family to purchase the commodity.

Popular Radio Maisha presenter Alex Mwakideu this week managed to capture live scenes of three men who teamed up at Naivas Supermarket -Gateway Mall in Syokimau and walked away with about a dozen packets of unga.

He took to social media to narrate the incident ‘Jicho Pevu’ style in the clips below:
