Piano Day Performance by Singer John Legend Surprises London Commuters
American R&B singer John Legend surprises commuters at London’s St. Pancras station for International Piano Day.
John Legend was all too willing to shake up rush hour on Piano Day.
The 38-year-old singer surprised London commuters on Wednesday when he gave travelers a surprising piano performance at the St. Pancras station.
Railway commuters getting on or off at London’s St. Pancras station on Wednesday morning (Mar. 29) were given an unexpected early-morning treat: John Legend performing live!

In celebration of the International Piano Day, John Legend sang some of his popular hit songs to teeming fans at the London train station.
He performed songs like “Ordinary People,” “All of Me” and “Surefire.”
The singer also used the opportunity to promote his latest album, “Darkness and Light,” as well as his tour.
Legend Surprises Fans On International Piano Day
The station itself, however, may have been aware of the surprise performance by the popular R&B singer.
They had previously hinted on Twitter that there will be some special performances taking place at the station’s pianos.

St. Pancras station in London is also holding a contest for contestants to win two tickets to see John Legend live in concert.

John Legend who featured in the block buster movie, Beauty and the Beast also did the soundtrack to the movie.
The singer/songwriter hinted fans of his likely performance at the station with a tweet saying:
