Antoine Griezmann has revealed his secret identity – the Atletico Madrid attacker is Superman!
At least in the French version of The Lego Batman Movie anyway. The France international has lent his voice to the animated film, where he will play the part of Superman.
Magic Mike and 21 Jump Street actor Channing Tatum voices Clark Kent’s alter ego in the original English language version, which is set for release on February 9.
The film is directed by Chris Kay and was commissioned after the huge success of The Lego Movie , which grossed $469 million worldwide at the box office.
In the movie, Batman has to save Gotham from evil villain The Joker, all with the help of some of his Lego friends – including Griezmann’s Superman!
Griezmann revealed the news in a video on his Facebook page, tagged with the message: “Happy to be lending my voice to Superman in The Lego Batman Movie .”
PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi is also reported to be voicing the Flash, according to L’Equipe .
