The situation regarding Alexis Sanchez‘s contract remains unresolved, but it seems the Chilean isn’t the only player considering a future away from the London side.
According to the agent of striker Lucas Perez, who signed from Deportivo La Coruna for £17-million last summer, the Spaniard hasn’t settled at the club and is eyeing a move to AC Milan.
“Look, the truth is that Lucas wants to leave at all costs and is not happy at Arsenal, he hasn’t settled and hasn’t had a chance to play and show what he can do,” agent Rodrigo Fernandez Llovelle told calciomercato.
“If Lucas leaves London – and he will leave because he’s had no chance with Wenger – he wants to go and play for a big club like Arsenal.
“Milan is a great club and he likes them very much, even if we’ve never talked with the Rossoneri hierarchy.”
Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud has been identified as a potential transfer target by Marseille, French media report.
Goal France claims Marseille are keen on bringing the 30-year-old back to his homeland, and the burly forward is just the man to bolster their attacking options.
Despite predominantly starting from the bench so far this season, Giroud has 11 goals for Arsenal.
Real keen on Otamendi
Argentina centre-back Nicolas Otamendi has become an important member of Manchester City’s first team under Pep Guardiola this season, and his performances seemingly haven’t gone unnoticed.
The player’s agent claims that Otamendi has been a target of Real Madrid ever since his time at Valencia, where he spent a season prior to moving to City.
“Madrid have followed him since his time at Valencia, just like Barça, but it didn’t go any further,” Otamendi’s agent Martin Sendoa told Radio Continental.
“Nico is happy at City, but who wouldn’t like to play at Real Madrid, the biggest club in the world?”
Apparently, the 29-year-old has been earmarked as the ideal, long-term replacement for Pepe, who is expected to leave the Bernebeu when his contract expires at the end of the season.
