The Croatian wishes to leave San Siro in search of Champions League football and the Italian giants have eyes on three possible replacements
Manchester United transfer target Ivan Perisic wants to quit Inter this summer and would command a transfer fee of €35-40 million, Goal has learned.
United manager Jose Mourinho hit the headlines on Friday after he was spotted in Zagreb ahead of Croatia’s World Cup 2018 qualifier against Ukraine.
Mourinho is a big fan of the 28-year-old winger, who is determined to leave the Serie A club this summer.

Goal understands that only Champions League football could potentially convince Perisic to remain at San Siro, but that seems unlikely with Inter eight points off a playoff place with just nine games to go.
Perisic recently changed his representative to Fali Ramadani in a bid to facilitate a move to the English Premier League, a competition the wideman has never hidden his desire to play in.
The former Wolfsburg star’s contract at Inter expires in 2020 and he would cost Manchester United a transfer fee of €35-40m were a deal to be agreed. Chelsea have also been linked to the Euro 2016 star in recent months.
Inter are open to letting Perisic leave in order to fund a big-money transfer of their own – with Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi and Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi on the shortlist to replace the Croatian.
Mourinho is also keeping an eye on Perisic’s Inter and Croatia team-mate Marcelo Brozovic, whose future at San Siro past the summer is also in doubt.
