Fresh from enjoying another productive season on the field, the England international striker has popped the question to girlfriend Katie Goodland
A day after Lionel Messi tied the knot in Argentina, Tottenham striker Harry Kane has caught the love bug by getting engaged.
It has been quite a summer for professional footballers, with there clearly something in the water.
‘Alli & Kane worth more than Messi’
Messi’s star-studded ceremony has dominated the headlines, but several other star turns have either tied the knot or committed to doing just that in the near future.
The likes of Antoine Griezmann, Alvaro Morata, Phil Jones and Jack Wilshere have all got married, while Kane’s north London rival Granit Xhaka and former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay have got engaged.

Kane popped the question to girlfriend Katie Goodland while on holiday in the Bahamas.
The pair welcomed the birth of their first child, Ivy, in January.
‘Kane should stay at Spurs’
Getting engaged completes a memorable 12 months for Kane, who enjoyed another standout 2016-17 campaign with Spurs and England.
He netted 35 times at club level, with 29 of those efforts helping him to secure back-to-back Premier League Golden Boot awards.
At the end of the domestic season, the 23-year-old captained his country for the first time and was on target in meetings with Scotland and France.
