New Twist as Jaguar’s Range Rover Involved in Death of Two is Owned by a Woman

Following reports that Jaguar’s top of the range vehicle was involved in a grisly road accident in Makutano near Sagana that claimed the lives of two men, there have been conflicting reports about who was behind the wheel in the Tuesday accident.

According to eyewitness reports, the Range Rover was being driven by a woman but the musician later came and claimed responsibility.

A social media post that broke the news read as follows:

“Yesterday around 3pm, along Makutano Sagana high way two young men, Joseph Maingi and Mugo Abdalla lost their lives. They were hit by a vehicle, a range rover sport, registration number KCB 808 J. The eye witness says that the driver was a lady who stopped few metres from the scene.

The road is under construction, so the vehicles needed blocking to pave way for other road users and still give time to the constructors. The driver of the said Range rover did not wait in line for cars to be cleared from her side, she was from Sagana heading to Makutano while the two were heading to Sagana. That’s when she hit the duo, who were almost joining the highway.

The ‘boda boda they were using went to one side, while the two young men fell on the other side. They both died on the spot. Jaguar, the alleged owner of the vehicle came around 3.30 and said he was the one driving the vehicle, even though the eye witnesses saw the lady driving it. The policemen from Rukanga police post alerted their counterparts from Sagana who towed the vehicle away. The lady plusJaguar left for Sagana police station. Later on, the parents to Mugo went to Sagana police station.

They were denied the chance to see the vehicle that took away the life of their son. They were told to come with their eye witnesses. Today morning, Kamau, a brother to Maingi went to SaganaPolice Station. He was denied a chance to see the vehicle too. He was told they haven’t found the owner of the vehicle. What has changed from yesterday? From the eye witnesses, we managed to get the photos of the car that hit them.”

According to many, the whole incident points to an alleged cover-up.

Jaguar’s case, however, is not helped by the fact that the vehicle – reg no: KCB 808J is not registered under his name.

An online search to determine the owner of the Range Rover believed to be Jaguar’s has listed one Wamuyu Wanjiru Everlyne as the owner of the car.

Therefore, it is highly likely that Everlyne was the lady alleged to be behind the wheel.

Perhaps she is one of Jaguar’s baby mamas or someone really close to him that he felt compelled to be a gentleman and take the blame.

With his deep pockets, influence, and ties with people in the high offices, perhaps the idea for the cover up is to make it easier to settle the case himself without involving or incriminating Everlyne.

That’s the most popular theory on the interwebs.

According to Jaguar, “due process of the law is being followed to resolve the case amicably.”

There is nothing amicable about going to jail to serve time, especially for Everlyne. So Jaguar, known for his philanthropy, will probably be looking to settle the matter out of court.

However, there’s an uproar and concern that the families of the deceased men will be denied justice.

It all remains to be seen what will happen but I have feeling the alleged lady driver will probably go scot free and the families will probably be compensated handsomely and urged not to pursue the case any further. Your guess is as good as mine.

Jaguar in his statement has sent his condolences and urged social media to avoid confrontational remarks in respect for the bereaved families.

He wrote:

“It is with grief that I share this post today. As it is now public, I was involved in a car accident. Sadly, lives were lost in the incident.

It isnt any ones will to wake up and be involved in an accident such as this.

My heart felt condolences to the families and friends of those affected. I would like to assure all concerned that due process of the law is being followed to amicably resolve this.

I pray God grant strength to the families affected as we all go through this trying moment.

Lastly, lets avoid confrontational remarks in consideration to the pain it is causing the bereaved families.

Be well.”
