RAPPER Kendrick Lamar tops the list of the MTV Video Music Awards, with eight nominations!
Kendrick landed the most nominations of the year with eight nods for his video Humble.
In the video, the rapper is seen lying on piles of cash, recreating Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, The Last Supper, with his hair on fire.
The 34th annual awards take place on 27 August, live from The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Flamboyant dancer and TV personality and choreographer Somizi Mhlongo has clinched the deal to host the awards for the African audience.
His coverage will be shown on United States of Somizi, to air at a later date on DStv channel 130.
Monde Twala, vice-president of BET Youth, said: “MTV Africa is exhilarated to be travelling to Los Angeles with the multitalented Somizi.
“He is set to host the red carpet for our African audiences.”
Pop singer Katy Perry will host the video awards, and will perform and compete for some top awards.
The awards will be broadcast live on 28 August at 2am and at 9.30pm on MTV (channel 130).
