Maisie Williams & Sophie Turner reunite for Carpool Karaoke. And there’s a dragon involved.

Maisie Williams & Sophie TurnerCarpool Karaoke began as a feature on The Late Late Show with James Corden and has since created iconic moments with some of our favourite celebrities, from James Corden and Justin Bieber playing dress up, to Stevie Wonder facetiming and even an appearance from Michelle Obama.

However, it was revealed in June 2016 that Apple Music purchased the segment with the intention of turning it into a stand-alone series.

Since then, we have been on tenter hooks awaiting any news of the show.

And we were not disappointed as it has now been revealed that Carpool Karaoke: The Series will air in the UK on Wednesday August 9, exclusively on Apple Music.

To whet our appetite, Apple Music have released a trailer on what we can expect from the new series and here’s what we learnt:

A) James Corden will not necessarily be in every episode
B) The guests leave the cars and do a whole host of different activities
C) Lots of our favourite celebs feature in the trailer, including Miley Cyrus, Jessica Alba and Alicia Keys

But just when we thought James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke lineup could get any better, he’s only gone and booked Mophie! That’s Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones

The two actresses, who have been stars on the HBO series since the first season, will be getting in James Corden’s infamous car to sing some of their favourite tunes as well as riding a mechanical dragon (as the Westerosi would call it).

It’s not customary of Carpool Karaoke to get non-singers into the car, but we think it just makes the skit even funnier.
